Previous Writing

Most recently, I have been a freelance writer for tri247.com and run247.com. From 2016-2018, I was digital content manager for Christians in Sport. You can find below a selection of my writing during that time, plus two blogs written during my year as a ministry intern at Trinity Church York in 2018-2019 and three produced for the Evangelical Alliance’s Great Commission website. Heading back into the mists of time, I was a newspaper journalist from 2003-2016, largely a sports writer and sub-editor for the Oxford Mail, flanked by spells as a news reporter for the Wiltshire Times and York Press.

What does the Bible say about injury?
What does the Bible say about drinking culture?
The Green Jacket and the greatest prize of all
World Cup dreams and a hope to rely on
Building a Super Bowl legacy
Running the race with perseverance

Trinity Church York
